色選びでいちばん迷ったのが、「17 Light」と「15 Rosyって、結局どっちが明るいの？」「ピンククッションって黄ぐすみしない？」というところでした。実際に塗り比べてみると、印象はかなり違います。 まず新作のCover Master Pink Cushionの「17 Light」は、明るめだけど“ピンク！ピンク！”というより、黄みにも寄りすぎないニュートラルベージュに感じました。顔にのせたときに肌色から浮きにくくて、赤みもくすみも一度のタッチで整いやすいタイプ。迷ったらまずこれ、という安心感があります。特に「ベースは手早く仕上げたい」「毛穴と色ムラを均一にしたい」人に向いていました。 一方でセカンドスキン（メッシュマット/グロウ）の「15 Rosy」は、名前の通りピンクシェード。ペール肌に血色感を足してくれるので、顔色が沈みやすい日に助かりました。ただしピンク系は、首の色が黄み寄りだと顔だけ明るく見えることもあるので、首との境目はスポンジやパフで薄くぼかすのがコツ。私はフェイスラインを薄めにして、頬中心に色を残す塗り方が一番しっくりきました。 「21C」みたいな表記（クール系の21号相当）を普段選びがちな人は、ピンク・ロージー系がしっくり来ることが多い印象です。逆に、普段21N/22Nのニュートラル〜黄み寄りを選ぶ人は、17 Lightの方が失敗しにくいと思います。 仕上がりの選び方も大事で、カバーと時短ならCover Master Pink Cushion、ツヤ肌が好きならSecond Skin Glow、きちんと感や崩れにくさ重視ならSecond Skin Mesh Matteが使いやすいです。花びら型パフは目元・小鼻が本当に塗りやすくて、細かいところのムラが減りました。 ちなみに、もし「メディア リュクス パウダーファンデーション」の色選びで悩んでいるなら、基本は“首の色に合わせる”のが失敗しにくいです。顔色を明るく見せたいときは1トーン上げたくなりますが、粉タイプは明るすぎると白浮きしやすいので、まずは首に近い色→血色はチークで足す、が個人的に安定でした。
