these are my personal favorite places to go in my home state🥰!
bernheim forest is a beautiful 14,000-acre nature preserve located in clermont, kentucky. i love the trails and sculptures. you can enjoy hiking, biking, horseback riding, and exploring the arboretum, which showcases a wide variety of trees and plants. bernheim forest also has a visitor center, a nature playground, and a unique collection of wooden sculptures scattered throughout the land. great place for photographers/models to shoot✨!
i absolutely love big mike’s in cave city, kentucky! it has 2 separate shops! 1 is catered to a variety of rocks/crystals, and the other is a gift shop with something for everyone! i spend at least an hour here every time i visit😅.
jackson’s orchard in bowling green, kentucky is a must! i’ve been here my whole life and each time is amazing! they have events to kick off different seasons! their concession stands serve seasonal items that are always delicious😋. the apple cider is to DIE for! especially in slush form at the concessions! they have pumpkin picking, apple picking, etc. hayrides, a petting zoo, and a playground for kids. i will continue to go every year!
dinosaur world like, big mike’s is in cave city, kentucky. even as a 21 year old, i love this place! there are activities that are fun and educating for all ages! they have hundreds of life-sized dinosaurs🦕 and also toys, games and geodes! you can bring your own snacks and drinks! playground for kids, and they are dog friendly with a leash!
flea land is also located in bowling green, kentucky. indoor and outdoor vendors selling a wide range of antiques and collectibles, plus carnival-style food🍦! i always walk out with something!
