Our trip to Malibu, January 1st
My family and I embarked on a thrilling road trip, driving along the scenic 101 highway towards Los Angeles. We passed through picturesque towns like Pismo Beach and Malibu, marveling at the breathtaking views of the Pacific Coast Highway. This was our first time driving 101 heading to LA, and we were determined to make the most of it.
We decided to start our journey in the year 2024, as I had never driven 101 before. We packed our bags, hit the road, and made our way to San Diego. After a delightful stay, we returned home on January 5th.
On January 7th, we were shocked to receive calls from our friends in Malibu and Los Angeles. They were in distress, reporting a devastating wildfire that had engulfed the area. Initially, we thought it was just a movie set, but the news of the fire in LA, specifically in the Hollywood Hills, quickly sank in.
Our hearts ached for our friends in Malibu and Los Angeles, and we sent them our deepest prayers and support. We vowed to visit them as soon as possible, and we made plans to come to see them this weekend.
Malibu is known for its stunning coastal views and iconic beaches, making it a top destination for travelers. As we traveled along the Pacific Coast Highway, we enjoyed breathtaking views and picturesque towns like Pismo Beach, each offering unique experiences.
