Somewhere along the way we started believing life had to be rushed to matter

that if we just worked harder cleaned more fixed more healed faster organized everything perfectly… then maybe we’d finally feel happy😍

But baby I’m learning that peace doesn’t come from squeezing every ounce out of yourself it comes from slowing down enough to actually live your life while you’re in it

And honestly?

this trip reminded me of thatNot every moment has to be packed full not every day has to be productive sometimes the sweetest memories happen in the quiet moments between the plans the slower mornings the calm walks the rides you take just because they make you smile the deep breath when you realize nobody is rushing you anymore i’m learning that joy shows up when we stop demanding so much from ourselves🌱
