Blueberry Parfait 😋

But four legged friend edition 🐕

Let’s walk through it

The base layer - Bocce’s treats, I wanted to incorporate one with a blueberry flavor already. I used about 3. I then used about 5 banana chips.

Put in a ziplock bag and smash.

Mid Layer- Super easy, just blue berries. You can do any dog safe fruit fresh or frozen.

Topping- We hit it with Pup Cup and a Bocce treat

Of course feed appropriately based on your dog, make less or feed half it needed :)

Blueberries are rich in antioxidants, fiber, and vitamins, making them a nutritious option to include in your dog's diet as treats. When preparing such parfaits, it’s important to use dog-safe ingredients like Bocce’s treats which come in blueberry flavors, ensuring all components are designed with your pet’s wellbeing in mind. Banana chips add a nice crunch and natural sweetness, but make sure they are unsweetened and free of any additives that might not suit dogs. For the middle layer, fresh or frozen blueberries work wonderfully, but moderation is key—overfeeding fruit can cause digestive upset in some dogs. The topping of Pup Cup—a creamy treat popular among dogs—combined with a Bocce treat provides the perfect finishing touch that many pups adore. Remember to tailor portion sizes based on your dog's size, weight, and dietary needs, especially since treats should only make up a small portion of their daily calorie intake. Always observe your pet after introducing new treats to monitor for any adverse reactions. This DIY blueberry parfait is a simple way to add variety to your dog’s snack time while incorporating natural, safe ingredients. Plus, making homemade dog snacks allows pet owners to avoid artificial preservatives and additives often found in store-bought treats. For more dog treat inspiration, you can explore other fruit options like apples (without seeds), strawberries, or even pumpkin puree, ensuring they’re all safe for canine consumption. Enjoy preparing this delightful parfait as a bonding activity, and your dog will surely appreciate the delicious reward!
