Zaylee Fryar Still missing 🫶😭😩🍼

🚨👶🏽💔 BABY STILL MISSING AFTER MOM’S BODY DISCOVERED 💔👶🏽🚨

📍 Millersville, Tennessee – May 1, 2011

🍼 She was only 3 months old. Sweet little Zaylee Fryar vanished under heartbreaking and mysterious circumstances that continue to haunt Tennessee. 😢

💔 On May 6, 2011, Zaylee’s 28-year-old mother, Shauna Marie Fryar, was tragically found in the Cumberland River near the Jefferson Street Bridge in downtown Nashville. But baby Zaylee? She has never been seen again. 🕯️

🕰️ On May 1, Shauna’s husband, Michael Fryar, told police he left their home on C Smith Street at 9:00 p.m. to go to the store. When he came back, Shauna and Zaylee were gone.

🚗 Shauna’s Honda Accord, wallet, cell phone, and Zaylee’s diaper bag were all left behind a chilling sign something was terribly wrong.

📵 Yes, Shauna struggled with substance use and had left home before, but she always came back or called. This time, she didn’t. Michael waited four long days before reporting them missing.

🧍🏽‍♀️ The next day, Shauna’s body surfaced in the river. She had visible injuries, including a through-and-through wound, and because of decomposition, investigators couldn’t determine her exact cause of death. They ruled it a homicide and believe Shauna lost her life in Millersville before being placed in the river.

👼🏽 But Zaylee? She was nowhere. Some fear if she was also left in the river, she may never be found. Others hold onto hope she could still be alive somewhere maybe unaware she’s a missing child. 🙏

🧬 Investigators preserved part of Shauna’s liver so DNA could one day confirm Zaylee’s identity if she’s recovered.

🔍 Shauna and Michael married in 1999, separated in 2005, but stayed connected. At the time she disappeared, she and Zaylee had just moved back in with him on April 29 after being homeless in Nashville.

🧸 Zaylee Fryar was only 2 feet tall and weighed 12 pounds when she disappeared. She has been missing since May 1, 2011.

⚠️ Someone knows something. Silence is not an option. 💔 Help bring baby Zaylee home. 👶🏽🕯️🙏

... Read moreThe disappearance of baby Zaylee Fryar remains one of the most poignant and mysterious missing child cases in Tennessee. Since her disappearance on May 1, 2011, numerous efforts have been made to uncover the truth and safely recover her. Despite the tragic discovery of her mother, Shauna Marie Fryar’s body in the Cumberland River a few days later, the whereabouts of baby Zaylee remain unknown. This unsolved case highlights several critical issues in missing person investigations, particularly those involving infants and families with complex backgrounds. One important aspect in such cases is the preservation of DNA evidence, which investigators have done by safeguarding a portion of Shauna’s liver. This allows potential future identification of Zaylee if she is found or comes forward under different circumstances. Additionally, law enforcement continues to appeal for anyone with information, emphasizing the importance of community involvement and timely reporting — crucial in missing child investigations. Statistics show that infants abducted or going missing have a higher risk profile due to their vulnerability. Factors like parental substance use, separation, or unstable housing, as seen in this case where Shauna and Zaylee had recently moved back in with Michael Fryar after a period of homelessness, often complicate investigations. Early intervention and awareness campaigns stressing the urgency of immediate missing person reports can significantly improve outcomes. Moreover, cold cases like Zaylee Fryar’s underscore the essential role of multidisciplinary cooperation among law enforcement agencies, social services, and public safety organizations. Technology advancements, such as improved DNA analysis, facial recognition, and community engagement platforms, have enhanced the potential to solve similar cases that linger unsolved for years. For the public, understanding the challenges and protocols surrounding missing children cases is vital. It fosters empathy and responsiveness, which might be lifesaving. Advocates also stress mental health support for families affected by such tragedies and the importance of continuous media attention to maintain public awareness. In conclusion, while Zaylee Fryar’s case remains unresolved, it serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the critical need to support missing child recovery efforts. Anyone with information is urged to contact local authorities, as even small clues can lead to breakthroughs that bring hope and closure to affected families.
