Where are the gamer girls!?

Hey everyone! It's PlayTimeSteph here, and I'm so excited to share more about my gaming world with you all. When I first started my YouTube channel, I kept asking myself, 'Where are all the gamer girls?' But honestly, I've found so many amazing people along the way, and I know there are countless more out there! For me, gaming isn't just a hobby; it's a huge part of my identity. I've been immersed in virtual worlds for as long as I can remember, from exploring pixelated landscapes to building dream homes in The Sims. Right now, my channel is buzzing with Sims 4 content, and I absolutely adore creating stories and challenges within the game. There’s something so therapeutic about designing every little detail, from a cozy starter home to a bustling community center. I love seeing your comments and suggestions on my builds and gameplay – it truly makes the experience so much richer. Being a 'gamer girl' comes with its own unique set of experiences. Sometimes it feels like you have to prove yourself in certain spaces, or you encounter misconceptions. But honestly, the positive outweighs any negatives by miles. It’s why I’m so passionate about growing my community and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. My journey on YouTube has been an adventure. I started with a simple setup, and it's been amazing to see how far I've come. Currently, I have 843 subscribers on my channel (we're so close to 1K, which is a huge milestone for me!). I've already uploaded 253 videos, and each one has been a learning experience. While Sims 4 is my main squeeze right now, I'm constantly dreaming about expanding. I’m saving up to upgrade my equipment, which means I’ll be able to dive into even more diverse games and bring you higher-quality content.
