Getting a 'Play of the Game' (PotG) in Overwatch 2 is always a thrill, but landing one with D.Va's Self-Destruct? Pure magic! I still can't believe how this last one went down during my stream. The timing was just perfect, and seeing the entire enemy team get caught in the blast was incredibly satisfying. Even though it was an unranked match, the excitement was definitely high, and it just goes to show that every game can have its standout moments, no matter your level. For anyone looking to master D.Va and maybe snag their own PotG, it's all about understanding her unique kit. Her Defense Matrix is incredibly powerful for blocking incoming damage and ultimates – learning when to use it to protect yourself or your teammates is crucial. Don't forget your Boosters for diving onto squishy targets, escaping sticky situations, or repositioning for a better Self-Destruct angle. And those Micro Missiles? They add a surprising amount of burst damage, especially when combined with a melee attack after boosting through an enemy. My personal strategy for a game-changing Self-Destruct often involves waiting for the perfect moment. Sometimes it's about throwing it from an unexpected angle, like over a building or from high ground. Other times, it's about combining it with another ultimate, like a Zarya Graviton Surge or an Orisa Terra Surge, to ensure enemies are grouped up and vulnerable. In this last PotG, it was primarily about catching the enemy team off guard during a chaotic team fight. Learning the maps and common enemy positions will definitely help you anticipate where to send that explosive mech! Playing Overwatch 2 on stream, especially in unranked matches, adds another layer of fun. It’s awesome to share those epic moments live, even if you're just starting out or, like me, mostly enjoying the casual unranked environment at Level 18. The 'Elapsed Time' feature in the game often makes me realize how quickly time flies when you're having fun and making big plays on stream! Overall, Overwatch 2 is such a dynamic and rewarding game.
