At this point, it is abundantly clear that my tolerance for anything sane or hinged is unfound, unfortunate, and completely NONEXISTENT! 😭🤣 Because WHY did I enjoy every single second of this foolishness?!
Let’s start with the fact that LeQuay, Scotland, and Teyairra originally met during a THREESOME, using fake names! Frank, Jada, and Brin! And Scotland was only there because she was getting her lick back after Art had completely disrespected their marriage.
Now fast-forward to LeQuay getting locked up, only to discover that his bunkie is none other than ART — Scotland’s husband! THE SAME WOMAN HE’D ALREADY BEEN WITH! 😭
But what absolutely SENT ME was LeQuay checking Art for the disrespectful way he was speaking to Scotland on the phone. Because even behind bars, that man was not about to sit there and listen to somebody mistreat a woman.
AND THENNNNNN, this man turned around, got Scotland’s number, and started building a whole relationship with her while Art was sleeping ON THE FLOOR across from him!!! 🤣🤣🫠
The audacity! The confidence! The absolute lack of concern for how insane the situation was! I WAS INVESTED!

Now THIS is a man who stands on business!
LeQuay was gangsta through and through, but what I appreciated most was how intentional he became once Scotland had his attention. He wasn’t simply throwing money around or making promises. He listened, communicated, protected, and helped her begin rebuilding her life.
The phone calls, the letters, the consistency, and the way he genuinely wanted to know Scotland beyond her circumstances? I loved every bit of it!
And when they finally realized that they were Frank and Jada from that original encounter?! GIRL! The full-circle moment was EVERYTHING!

Scotland deserved so much better than the life she had been living with Art.
Between the abuse, manipulation, isolation, and financial control, she had lost so much of herself trying to hold on to a marriage that was destroying her.
What I loved was watching her begin to reclaim her independence. Her opportunity to work as a nail tech, rebuild her confidence, and experience someone who genuinely cared about her well-being mattered just as much as the romance.
And despite everything she endured, Scotland still had some fire in her! She wasn’t just waiting around to be rescued. She was learning how to live again.

The entitlement, the jealousy, the delusions, and the inability to accept that LeQuay was not her man?! MA’AM!
A situationship does not automatically become a committed relationship just because YOU decided it should!
And the fact that her mess started spilling into Shakur’s life?! Oh, I already know there’s more foolishness coming.

The abuse, the controlling behavior, the disrespect, and the audacity to expect loyalty while doing whatever he wanted? Absolutely NOT!
The irony of his own bunkie showing Scotland more respect than he ever did was not lost on me.

Beyond all the chaos, LeQuay and Scotland actually built something meaningful.
Their relationship wasn’t just about chemistry or physical attraction. They established an emotional connection through conversations, vulnerability, consistency, and genuine effort before fully realizing how their lives were already connected.
And discovering that LeQuay was the father of Scotland’s baby added another level to an already outrageous love story!

We were given drama, betrayal, suspense, unexpected tenderness, a protective gangsta, an absolutely ridiculous love connection, and enough audacity to last several lifetimes.
Was the situation morally questionable? ABSOLUTELY.
Did I support every decision? Probably not.
Was I entertained? FROM BEGINNING TO END!
