The truth about wing stop fries

... Read moreMany people often ask if Wingstop fries and wings are fried or baked and what kind of seasoning they use. From my experience and research, Wingstop fries are typically fried, which gives them a crispy texture, but the seasoning can vary. Some flavors like the seasoned fries have a sweet undertone that might not be to everyone’s liking. If you're accustomed to classic salty or spicy fries, Wingstop’s sweet seasoning might catch you off guard, as it did for me. However, this distinctive flavor profile is part of what sets Wingstop apart. They also offer lemon pepper fries, which have a tangy and zesty taste that's quite popular among fans. For those who enjoy pairing their fries with ranch or other dips, Wingstop provides a variety of sauces that complement their seasoned fries well. In terms of wings, there's often confusion about whether Wingstop wings are baked or fried. Traditionally, Wingstop fries their wings in oil, which results in their signature crispy texture and flavor. This is something to keep in mind if you’re conscious about fried foods. If you’re trying Wingstop for the first time or considering their fries, it might help to know that their fries have changed over time, and some people have noted differences in seasoning or texture compared to previous visits. From my personal experience, if you prefer a less sweet seasoning, sticking with classic options like the corn or other fry styles might be better. Overall, Wingstop offers unique flavors that might not suit everyone’s taste buds, but they bring a different twist to the typical fry experience. If you value crispy fries with a sweet seasoning or want to try their lemon pepper fries, Wingstop is worth a try, but be ready for that unexpected flavor shift.

i used to work here for over 2 years. the fry seasoning has sugar in it lol but the fries are good if they’re made correctly and not redropped into the grease!! or dropped into the same grease as the chicken.
