The story begins at the 100th anniversary of the famous girls' school, and the highlight of the event is the "murder play" of the acting club, but the entertainment turns out to be a nightmare when the stage suddenly has to swipe the curtain shut without ending, because one in ten actors is murdered with "poison" to the point of death in the middle of the stage!
And this is the beginning of a gruesome series of murders, when club members begin to be killed one by one, according to the exact role and method of death written in the play! For example, one sleeps awake, one cuts in two...

🧐 Interesting review
Picking up the "one group of people killed conditionally" plot and reinterpreting it in high school settings and acting clubs makes the story look fresh, addictive, and great at the pressure of being in a confined space.
The waiting atmosphere of "who will be the next victim" and "how to be killed," as the play says, squeezes our hearts to win.
Imamura is still good at punching the darkness in the human mind. Murder is not just because of shallow resentment, but the satire of sin behind the mask of the good man, which lures us to guess the way out until the last moment!
💡 Things learned after reading
Everyone has a "secret" or "sin" hidden in their hearts that they don't want anyone to know. Sometimes actions that we think are trivial can go to inflict a wound that destroys other people's lives to cause deep resentment.
This questions justice. When a person rises up to judge another with death to "cleanse himself of sins," that person cannot finally escape becoming a murderer and the worst "sinner."
In dire and oppressive situations, we can see the true nature of the person, the person who looks harmless may be the most insidious, and the person who looks innocent may have the darkest background. Being conscious and not judging anyone from the outside is the best way to survive.
