Watching too short a clip until reading a book?
I haven't read a serious book for 10 years, and we've come back to the beginning, and it's been floating around, reading a lot of lines, but "the mind doesn't get in the head" or can't catch the point, there's no concentration. 😩
We went looking for information and it turned out that we were like this.
Why can't our brain catch it?
Our brain is spoiled by short clips: when we plow the feed, often watch short clips, the brain is used to receiving information that is "short, sensitive, instant," and quickly secrete dopamine. When you come across a long letter that takes time to chew, spend time processing, the brain suddenly causes protest and laziness.
Concentration: Social media gives us a shorter and shorter Focus Span. When you change to read a book, the brain can't adjust the mode. The wheels rotate, but the machine is not hot.
This is as simple as "the brain muscles have not exercised for a long time," leaving a book for 10 years. When I came back to read the brain muscles, it had fatigue.
