We found it to be a bit more rugged than expected, with sections that had plenty of rocks and even some sheer drops, adding to the adventure. Sturdy hiking boots are definitely a must, especially if you go during seasons when the trail might be wet or icy. One thing I learned firsthand is to plan your timing. We actually started our hike around 7 p.m., racing against the setting sun to beat the dark and get back to our camp for dinner.
