Gua Tempurung, Perak!

Exploring one of the biggest limestone caves in Malaysia 🪨✨ Super cooling inside – natural aircon! ❄️

They have wet & dry tours… I took the dry one because too lazy to shower after 😅

Amazing rock formations and peaceful vibes inside Worth visiting if you travel there.

... Read moreIf you’re planning a trip to Gua Tempurung, here are some extra tips to make your experience even better. The cave offers two types of tours: wet and dry. I personally chose the dry tour to avoid getting wet and having to shower afterward, but the wet tour is for those craving more adventure and aren't afraid to get a bit damp. Both tours showcase incredible rock formations and winding cave passages, so you won’t miss out on the natural beauty either way. Getting to Gua Tempurung is straightforward from Ipoh, and it’s a perfect day trip if you’re looking to escape the city’s hustle. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring a flashlight, even though the tours are guided, some areas can be dimly lit. The consistent cool temperature inside the cave provides a nice relief from the tropical heat outside. Aside from exploring the cave itself, the surrounding area offers lush greenery and peaceful vibes, perfect for unwinding afterward. Many visitors also bring cameras to capture the impressive limestone formations—don’t forget to snap some photos! For tickets, it’s recommended to check current prices and booking options in advance, especially on weekends or holidays when the place can get busy. Overall, Gua Tempurung is a hidden gem for those interested in nature escapes and cave exploration while visiting Malaysia.

If you’re at Taiping, don’t miss this musuem
The Perak Museum is surprisingly located in Taiping. It’s not very big — you can probably finish walking through the whole place in about 30 minutes, but there’s actually quite a lot to see. There are fighter jets, vintage cars, cultural artefacts, fish, animal skeleton models, and art exhibits.

Troublesome when travelling with mom? ✈️
Honestly, planning trips with parents can feel so troublesome. Especially with mom. She’ll nag… “too expensive 💸, the queue is too long, the food is not nice 🍲.” Sometimes it makes you wonder if it’s even worth it? But then you see her smile. You watch her enjoying the breeze, the view, the laug

My honest opinion about Bintan (3D2N)
Hi hi! Looking back after travelling to more places, I’d say Bintan has been the least value-for-money destination so far. Don’t get me wrong 🙃 it’s not that I dislike it, but it just didn’t feel very worth it in terms of what we spent. We were in Bintan for 3D2N and spent at least SGD 1,200
