confessions of a car girl
Just a reminder… The road’s a good place to leave your worries behind.
There’s something about hitting the open road that just makes everything feel a little lighter. The second I start driving, the weight of the day, the stress, and those little worries just start to fade into the background. Maybe it’s the rhythm of the tires on the pavement or the way the world looks from behind the wheel, but the road has this way of reminding you what’s worth holding onto and what isn’t.
Being on the road is my version of a reset button. With each mile, it’s like I’m leaving behind all those things that weigh me down. There’s no pressure to be anything but present, no expectations—just me, my car, and the freedom to keep going. It’s a simple escape, but it’s exactly what I need to clear my head and find perspective.
So here’s to embracing the road and letting it take us somewhere new—even if that place is just a little peace of mind.
