Bath & Bodywork’s Run
Stranger Things scents are not bad at all. So ready for season 5!!! #bathandbodyworks #strangerthings #cleangirl #Lemon8Diary
Okay, Lemon8 fam, I absolutely HAVE to spill the tea on the Bath & Body Works Stranger Things collection! You know how much I love both, so when I saw they collaborated, my inner fan girl totally screamed. I finally made a "run" to my local store, and let me tell you, it was an experience! Walking in, I was immediately greeted by this incredible display. Just like the OCR mentioned, there was a huge Demogorgon cutout, which was both spooky and super cool – definitely a photo op moment! The whole section was decked out to feel like you stepped right into Hawkins, Indiana. The attention to detail in the store display was just fantastic, making it feel like more than just a shopping trip – it was an immersion into the Stranger Things universe. They even had little props and signage that made you feel like you were exploring the Upside Down or a secret lab. Now, let's talk about the main event: the scents! The original post was right, they are "not bad at all" – in fact, I'd say they're surprisingly good and really capture the spirit of the show without being too literal or childish. I picked up a few items, including some of their famous 3-wick candles and a couple of hand soaps. I tried to imagine what scents would capture the essence of Stranger Things, and Bath & Body Works really delivered on creativity. One of my absolute favorites was a candle called "Upside Down." It had this mysterious, slightly earthy but sweet scent – almost like damp woods mixed with a hint of something sugary, maybe like Eleven's waffles or a familiar scent from the Byers' home? It’s not overpowering, but definitely unique and perfect for setting a cozy, yet eerie, vibe for a binge-watching session. Another one, possibly named "Hawkins Lab," had a more fresh, almost metallic and slightly ozonic scent, which was super interesting and made me think of secret experiments and the underlying tension of the show. And for something lighter and more nostalgic, the "Stadman's Ice Cream" hand soap was a sweet, fruity dream – a perfect nod to Steve and Robin's iconic workplace and the lighter moments in the series! The packaging for each product was also stellar, incorporating iconic imagery and colors from the show, making them collector's items in themselves. The quality, as always with Bath & Body Works, was top-notch. The candles burn beautifully and evenly, filling my entire living room with their unique fragrances, and the hand soaps leave your hands feeling clean and smelling amazing without being too drying. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into making these scents truly evoke the show's spirit without being too gimmicky. This isn't just a basic collaboration; it feels like a really well-thought-out line for true fans. For anyone wondering if the Bath & Body Works Stranger Things collection is worth checking out, my answer is a resounding YES! Especially if you're a fan of the show. These are definitely limited edition, so if you're thinking about grabbing some (or all!), don't wait too long. I'm already planning another trip to stock up on my favorites, especially with season 5 finally dropping... eventually! It's the perfect way to get into the mood for the final season or just add a touch of Hawkins magic to your home. Seriously, go check out the Demogorgon display and sniff around – you won't regret it! What scents did you guys find? Or which ones are you hoping they bring back for the next season? Let me know!
