Vibe coded an app for designers to have custom color palettes
Built this app so that designers can have more color inspo from real life photos!! Also we have WCAG and ADA complaince checks for color schemes 😘💋
As a designer constantly seeking fresh and accessible color inspirations, I found Vibe to be a game-changer. The app’s ability to transform photos from real environments into custom color palettes saved me tremendous time brainstorming hues. What impressed me most is its seamless integration of WCAG AAA compliance checks, ensuring that the color combinations not only look great but are also accessible to users with visual impairments or color blindness. Working on various UI/UX projects, I tested Vibe using photos from an India-themed photoshoot. In just seconds, the app generated multiple color palettes complete with HEX codes and pass/fail indicators for contrast ratios. This feature is vital for meeting ADA regulations and creating inclusive designs. I could tap any color to copy its HEX value instantly and experiment with combinations until I found the perfect balance. Beyond accessibility, the palettes it created were highly authentic and vibrant; they captured the essence of the source image rather than generic shades you might find in stock libraries. Whether designing a website, mobile app, or marketing material, Vibe helps blend creativity with compliance effortlessly. Overall, Vibe stands out as an essential tool for designers focused on both aesthetics and accessibility. It empowers you to draw inspiration from genuine moments and ensures your palette choices support usability for all users. I highly recommend incorporating Vibe into your design workflow for personalized, inclusive color schemes that pass WCAG standards.
