What I watched in January
Happy with the start of the year and what I was able to watch. I had a few things that I started to watch in January that are still ongoing or I haven’t finished yet and as I make this post at the beginning of February I already watched some new movies 🍿
What did you watch this month?
Starting the year with a diverse watchlist sets a positive tone, and January proved to be a great month for catching up on both classics and new releases. I began by revisiting beloved films like 'When Harry Met Sally,' a timeless romantic comedy with unforgettable performances by Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan, which always brings a mix of laughter and nostalgia. At the same time, I made an effort to explore fresh content such as "Wonder Man" Season 1, which intrigued me with its unique storyline and engaging characters. It’s been exciting to follow ongoing series like "Pokemon Horizons: Rising Hope" Season 3, which continues to deliver action and adventure for fans of all ages. Another standout was appreciating the artistry of the film "Bugonia," starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. The film’s distinct style and captivating narrative provided a thought-provoking viewing experience. I also caught the Apple TV special "One-Of-A-Kind Marcie," which offered heartfelt moments and unique storytelling. Sports fans would appreciate the HBO original "Hard Knocks" following the NFC East's 2025 season—this behind-the-scenes documentary brings an intense and raw look into the world of football. Movies like "The Rip," featuring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, brought gripping drama and intense performances, balancing the lighter moments from classics such as "Blazing Saddles," known for its humor and sharp wit. Reflecting on all these shows and movies reminds me how varied streaming content can be. Whether it’s binge-watching ongoing series, enjoying a film marathon, or exploring new specials, it’s enriching to diversify what we watch. Sharing and hearing about others’ monthly watchlists can be a great way to discover new favorites and broaden viewing horizons. What did you watch in January?
