I've been wanting to find 90s Ford F Series trucks, which i found two of them this one and a 1997 Ford F-350 XLT Crew Cab Long Bed. The 9th generation of the F series ran from 1992-1997, the 9th gen F-150 ended production in 1996 and the F-250, F-350 ended production in 1997.

There’s something about the clean lines of the OBS (Old Body Style) body that just hits different. The black paint on mine, even after all these years, truly shines, especially here in Lakewood, CO. It really highlights that iconic grille and bumper design – those headlights and fog lights are just classic Ford! One of the main reasons I gravitate towards these 9th generation F-series trucks (1992-1997) is their legendary reputation for being absolute workhorses. While my original post focuses on the exterior, knowing that under the hood, these 1995 F-150s often housed incredibly durable engines like the 5.0L V8 or the legendary 4.9L inline-six, gives me peace of mind. They're known for being straightforward to maintain, which is a huge plus for anyone looking for a dependable classic. I'm excited to dive deeper into the engine bay on mine soon to ensure everything is running perfectly! Stepping inside, the gray interior of my F-150 is pure 90s nostalgia. That sturdy bench seat with the center console is surprisingly comfortable for a daily driver or a weekend cruiser. I especially appreciate the simple, functional dashboard and door controls – no unnecessary frills, just honest-to-goodness truck utility. The floor mat and overall interior components feel built to last, and I'm already thinking about some minor touches to make it truly mine, perhaps a new stereo or some detailing to refresh the panels. And let's talk about that short bed! For me, a regular cab short bed 1995 F-150 offers the perfect balance. It’s maneuverable enough for city driving, but still incredibly capable for hauling gear. The robust truck bed liner and tie-down hooks are ready for any adventure, whether it's a trip to the hardware store or heading out for some camping. The rear view, with its classic taillights, tailgate handle, and that prominent exhaust pipe, just screams vintage American truck. Even the tire tread and suspension components show its rugged capability. Overall, finding this 1995 F-150 Regular Cab Short Bed has been a fantastic experience. The OBS F-series generation represents a sweet spot for many truck enthusiasts – classic looks combined with modern enough amenities and legendary Ford toughness. From the sturdy suspension components to the iconic F-150 badge on the side, every detail reminds you of a time when trucks were built with purpose. If you're on the hunt for a '95 F-150 or any OBS Ford, especially a single cab short bed, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for these gems. They truly don't make 'em like this anymore!
