For a long time, I struggled with the discomfort and dissatisfaction of visiting nail salons, which often left me feeling uneasy rather than pampered. Doing nails at home also eliminates many common concerns, such as hygiene issues or rushed services. I can take my time, use my preferred products, and create nail looks that truly reflect my style. Plus, engaging in nail art has become a relaxing hobby and a way to express creativity, which is so fulfilling. For anyone considering this route, my advice is to start simple and build your skills gradually. Invest in quality tools and polish, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes—that’s part of the learning process! Joining online communities dedicated to nail art can provide inspiration, tips, and encouragement, making the journey much more enjoyable. Overall, choosing to never step foot in a nail salon again has been one of the best decisions for my self-care and creativity.
