I loved this one post. I couldn’t get it all to fit on this post but I rewrote it in my notebook. I rewrote it in a first person format. That way when I reread it I am speaking directly to myself. Reflecting on the powerful message that "You are more than someone's future wife," I have come to appreciate the importance of seeing my life as a full story—not waiting for marriage to begin truly living. This perspective has reshaped how I view my role and identity. Instead of feeling defined by future relationship milestones, I focus on being deeply loved and called to a meaningful purpose here and now. Living as a woman who carries her own dreams, leadership, and calling helps me to embrace my worth regardless of relationship status. I resonate with the thought that marriage may be a beautiful chapter but never the entirety of one's life story. This mindset encourages a focus on personal growth, faith, and impact, affirming that being God's daughter and a purposeful individual are foundational to who I am. Personally, rewriting affirmations in a first-person format—as Sarah Porter did—has been powerful. Speaking directly to myself in my journal helps internalize these truths and brings comfort on challenging days. It’s a reminder that worth is innate, rooted in divine love and not external validation. Practicing this has improved my self-esteem and nurtured hope, especially when societal pressures made me feel incomplete without marriage.
