✨hidden gem alert in rogers, arkansas✨💕🤩

i took a little day trip to NWA, and wow… rogers did NOT disappoint!!

🍴lunch at nola’s pantry was so good i forgot to feed my phone before i devoured everything🫣

🥖and just when i thought my day couldn’t get any better, i saw the amazing sourdough bakery right next door to nola’s!!

it was so cute, and the owner was the sweetest! she told me all about how she started her business and why she loves sourdough. 🫶🏻

of course i bought 2 loaves sourdough (cinnamon raisin + cranberry👏) both were DELICIOUS! 😋😋

but the real star?? her sourdough coffee cake! truly THE BEST coffee cake i’ve ever tasted. i don’t think i can go back to normal coffee cakes.

definitely adding downtown rogers to my list of must-return spots.

💭 have you been?? what’s your favorite hidden gem in northwest arkansas?

... Read moreOkay, so you're curious about Nola's Pantry, just like I was! Let me tell you more about why this spot truly lives up to being the 'CUTEST lunch spot in NWA.' When you walk in, you're greeted by this lovely, bright atmosphere – I particularly loved the white brick wall with that charming hand-painted mural of food items. It just sets such a welcoming, artistic vibe. Their menu is fantastic for a lunch date or a quick, delicious bite. I remember seeing a beautiful sandwich, packed with fresh ingredients, and some amazing-looking omelets on other tables. My dish was so good, it vanished before I even thought about taking 'Nola's Pantry photos' for my feed! Seriously, if you're looking for fresh, thoughtfully prepared food in a cozy setting, this is it. It feels like a true local secret. And then, the magic continued next door at what I later learned was 'BIG HEART BENEVOLENT BAKERY'! The name itself is so heartwarming, and the owner definitely embodies that spirit. She was so passionate about her craft, and you can taste it in every bite. Beyond that phenomenal sourdough coffee cake (which, no exaggeration, has ruined all other coffee cakes for me), their sourdough loaves are a must-try. I snagged a cinnamon raisin and a cranberry – perfect for breakfast or just snacking. Inside, the bakery is rustic and charming, with lovely display shelves showcasing not just bread but also cute kitchen items. You'll see beautiful wicker baskets filled with fresh loaves and that striking wheat mural on the wall, adding to the artisanal feel. It’s clear they put a lot of heart into what they do. Now, if you're exploring the Rogers food scene, you might be looking for a variety of options. While my focus was on these two incredible spots, downtown Rogers itself is brimming with unique, local eateries. It's worth taking some time to wander and discover other independent restaurants that offer everything from comfort food to international flavors. Many places, like Nola's Pantry, pride themselves on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. So, whether you're craving a hearty sandwich, a gourmet coffee, or something entirely different, Rogers has a surprising amount to offer beyond the usual chain restaurants. Don't be afraid to ask locals for their recommendations – that's how I often find the best places! This area is truly a foodie's paradise if you know where to look. I'm already planning my return trip to explore even more culinary delights in this vibrant part of Northwest Arkansas.
