Which gate are you in?
You keep trying to figure out what’s wrong.
But nothing is wrong you’re just in a descent.
And the part of you that’s uncomfortable?
That’s the part that can’t come with you where you’re going. Most people mislabel this phase.
They call it burnout. Confusion. Bad timing.
It’s really an initiation your nervous system is learning how to hold. Read the gates again and be honest with yourself about which one you are actually in right now?
Don’t pick the one that sounds the most evolved, pick the one you’ve been trying to avoid.

From my own journey, I've realized that what feels like burnout or confusion is often the nervous system adapting to a new level — an initiation rather than a breakdown. When you slow down and honestly assess the emotional gate you're passing through, such as the Gate of Stillness or Gate of Exposure, it becomes clear that resistance is just a sign that you're already inside that phase. For example, during the Gate of Loss, I felt a deep grip on things I thought defined me, making it painful to let go. But by surrendering instead of resisting, I started to rebuild my inner strength. The discomfort wasn't a setback but a necessary pressure to expand my tolerance. I noticed that the part of me trying to escape these gates was undergoing restructuring, as the mask I wore began to crack, exposing authentic parts of myself I had hidden. This process isn't about falling apart; it's about reforming foundations to support the next stage of growth. I encourage embracing the gate you resist most — it's often where your next transformation lies. This perspective helped me shift from confusion to clarity, understanding that each descent is a purposeful threshold orchestrated by our nervous system. If you’re navigating a phase of pressure or loss, try journaling about what you’re avoiding. Naming your gate can be a powerful first step in initiating healing and rebuilding your capacity for life’s unfolding journey.
