It’s tempting to want quick change without hardship, but genuine transformation demands that you go through dissolution before rebirth. Regulating your nervous system plays a crucial role in how much truth you can handle. I found that practices like deep breathing, mindfulness, and grounding techniques helped me stay present during intense emotional waves. Without nervous system regulation, the process can feel overwhelming and even counterproductive. Shadow work is often misunderstood as fixing what's wrong with us, but in reality, it is about reclaiming exiled parts of our identity. This journey of integration means accepting aspects we've denied or disowned, leading to a more authentic sense of self. Identity collapse, although frightening, marks the moment old patterns give way to profound growth. Power and transformation go hand in hand, but power must be grounded in integration to avoid destructive outcomes. True initiation changes not just how you think but how you live and relate to the world around you. It reshapes your daily choices, relationships, and sense of purpose.
