Nobody talks about this…

Nobody talks about how the people you’ve known your whole life…

even family… can be the least supportive when you start changing.

When you start thinking differently.

Moving differently.

Growing at a pace they can’t keep up with.

It’s not always loud hate.

Sometimes it’s silence.

They see you.

They watch everything you post.

They know what you’re building, what you’re going through, what you’re trying to become…

But they don’t acknowledge it.

They don’t support it.

They don’t celebrate you.

And that silence?

It speaks louder than anything.

Especially when you’re putting yourself out there—

sharing your life, your struggles, your business, your healing…

and the very people you thought would clap for you

don’t even tap the screen.

I’ve learned… not everyone is meant to understand your growth.

And not everyone who knows you… is meant to go with you.

👉 Can anyone else relate to this?

👉 Have you ever felt this way?

👉 Be honest… have you experienced this too?

... Read moreMany people embarking on a path of personal growth and transformation find that the most challenging hurdles aren’t just external obstacles but come from within their very own circles. Friends and family, whom we expect to cheer us on, can sometimes become unexpectedly distant or silent. From my experience, this silence doesn’t always signify disapproval but often stems from their discomfort or inability to understand rapid change. When you start thinking differently or pursuing new goals at a pace others can’t keep up with, it might disrupt familiar dynamics, leading to a quiet withdrawal instead of open opposition. I’ve noticed that this lack of acknowledgment can sting deeply, especially when you’re vulnerable—sharing your struggles, your business ventures, or your healing process online or in person—hoping for encouragement or even a simple like or comment, and receiving none. What helped me navigate this was realizing not everyone who knows you is meant to accompany you on your journey. Growth often requires redefining relationships and, sometimes, seeking support beyond traditional circles. Connecting with communities that celebrate progress and foster genuine encouragement, like groups for entrepreneurs or healing support networks, can replace the silence with empowerment. Additionally, practicing self-validation and setting boundaries with those who aren’t supportive became essential. It’s okay to protect your energy and prioritize relationships where your growth is uplifted rather than diminished. If you relate to this experience, remember you’re not alone in facing understated family or friend resistance. The journey of evolving thought and lifestyle often requires courage not just in action but in enduring and embracing those quiet moments of solitude where growth truly takes root.
