They don’t support it.

and the very people you thought would clap for you

I’ve learned… not everyone is meant to understand your growth.
And not everyone who knows you… is meant to go with you.

What helped me navigate this was realizing not everyone who knows you is meant to accompany you on your journey. Growth often requires redefining relationships and, sometimes, seeking support beyond traditional circles. Connecting with communities that celebrate progress and foster genuine encouragement, like groups for entrepreneurs or healing support networks, can replace the silence with empowerment. Additionally, practicing self-validation and setting boundaries with those who aren’t supportive became essential. It’s okay to protect your energy and prioritize relationships where your growth is uplifted rather than diminished.
