Bangkok spokesman Ekwuru Amrapal revealed that Bangkok would like to thank the people who visited the Red Cross for 2025 for sorting out waste according to the "non-total" approach, which reduces the amount of waste that Bangkok has to dispose of from the source, focuses on making waste as worthwhile as possible, and the waste is destroyed in the right way. The Environment Bureau has reported waste statistics after the end of the Red Cross, which the Environment Bureau, together with 22 district offices, campaigns and encourages people to sort waste under the "non-total" and "green event" approach, with the cooperation of the Agency. The visitors sorted the waste and arranged for the sorting of the waste at a total of 44 points so that everyone could throw the waste into the tank in the category. During the Red Cross event at Lumbini Park from December 11 to 21, 2025, 1,465,379 people attended the event, with a total amount of 288,027.3 kilograms of waste collected, divided into general waste, an average of 23,923.4 kilograms, which is 92% per day. Recycled waste averages 860.1 kilograms, which is 3% per day, and food waste averages 1,400.8 kilograms, which is 5% per day. Bangkok has exploited and managed in the right way, as follows: food waste, fermented area offices, fertilizer and some passed on to farmers for forage, recycled waste, donated to the Thai Red Cross and general waste, collected and disposed of hygienically.
A spokesman for Bangkok went on to say that the people helped to sort out trash and dump it at the BMA. In addition to providing cleanliness, neatness and environmental protection, Bangkok can manage waste more effectively and bring waste back to maximum use. It can also reduce global warming. For the management of waste at the 2025 Red Cross, Bangkok, the Environment Agency, together with 22 district offices from the South Bangkok, Central Bangkok and North Bangkok area groups and the Pathum One district office, in the management of "non-total" and "green events," requesting the cooperation of agencies, shops, visitors, waste sorting and staff to provide selection advice.
