Qiding

Qiding Beach (Qiding Beach) in Zhunan City, Miaoli County is a quiet and beautiful coastal tourist attraction of Taiwan. It is famous for its beautiful sunset views and relaxed atmosphere.

Travel by public transport

The easiest way to reach Qiding Beach is to use the Taiwan Railway service.

Take the train to Qiding Station (Qiding Station -):

From Taipei: You can take the TRA train from Taipei Main Station directly to Qiding Station, or you can change the train at Zhunan Station. The train journey can take about 2 hours or more, depending on the type of train.

From Taichung: Take the TRA train from Taichung Station to Zhunan Station and may change the short-term local train to Qiding Station or take the train straight to Qiding Station at all. The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

From Hsinchu (Hsinchu): The TRA train ride from Hsinchu Station to Qiding Station takes only about 22 minutes.

From Qiding Station to the beach:

On foot: Qiding Station is a small unmanned station. You can easily walk to Qiding Beach in a few minutes. When leaving the station, walk to the back of the second platform to reach the exit to the sea.

Travel by car or taxi

From Taipei: It takes about 90 km to drive 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Taichung: The distance is about 70 km, about 1 hour's drive.
