📌 1) Devasthan Prang Guest

If you come to Lop Buri and want to start with a beautiful ancient place that is easy to walk, Prang Guest is another point not to miss because it is not far from the Phra Phra Phra and Prang, three peaks can travel comfortably on one route.

It was originally a Brahmin monastery, built in Khmer art, and the highlight was three brick pranks aligned north-south, the central one being the largest, and the other two flanked the sides.

The interesting thing is,

These pranks make bricks without mortar, but with rubber as a solder, an ancient construction technique found in Khmer art during the 15th-16th centuries. The doors of the prang are open only on the east side, and on the other three sides are pseudo-doors, which are a common architectural style in ancient sites, later in the time of King Maharaj.

It was renovated and built a small temple in front of it and a cistern to use inside the sanctuary.

The surrounding area is now landscaped with colorful flowering plants, giving a pleasant atmosphere, a leisurely walk to the ancient site.

If you drive out of Lop Buri towards Kanchanaburi, another very interesting ancient site is Sing City Historic Park, also known as Sing City Castle. This is located along the Kwai Noi River.

Inside the park is still the layout of an ancient, rectangular city surrounded by

Archaeologists assume that the city was built in the 18th century Buddha during the reign of King Jayavarman VII, King of the Kingdom of Khom, who was instrumental in the creation of the Mahayana Church. In the ancient city, there are four important ancient sites, the most prominent of which is Historic Site No. 1, which is a castle with a crooked porch and four entrance arches called Kopura. One of the key sculptures discovered here is the Bodhisattva of Avalokiteva, a Bayonne art sandstone sculpture, now preserved at the National Museum of Nakhon.

Idolatry of Philosophy Pamita, the goddess of wisdom in Mahayana Buddhism, as well as numerous terracotta printings, jewelry and antiquities have also been found; archaeological excavations have also found human skeletons, tools and ancient utensils, which archaeologists believe may date to about 2,000 years.
