tried the viral hotcakes…
and my verdict? honestly not for me. hahahahaha!!
yes i understand that it has a 24hour fermentation of the batter, so hence it tastes a little “alcoholic” but it’s really not my cup of tea, coming from a hotcakes connoisseur hahaha! my boyfriend however, enjoyed it quite a bit so he finished the whole thing for us! the honey maple syrup was really yummy thoo! and the strawberry jam okay okay.
overall 5/10 for me, for my bf 7.5/10 as it got jelat towards the end but he did like it
anyw bfr we get to the food i wanted to mention a small sn that we had a mix-up with their reservation; but i wanted to commend the owner, amanda for being very calm, professional and helpful throughout!! definitely the service here made the overall visit a
pleasant one.

🥪 pistachio mozzarella sandwich
sooo good!! this was only available during breakfast menu but we tried our luck and asked since we went during dinner & they had it thankfully!! im not a fan of pistachio but this was rlly good i have to say!! super crispy, flaky and not too filling 🤤🤤 definitely a must try & one of their best sellers/popular items! 10/10
no idea what’s polenta before having this, but the owner kindly explained that it was made from ground corn, and each piece includes herbs & cheese! the outer of the fritter was cripsy, crunchy while the inside was soft and creamy! such an interesting taste!! cheese was sooo yums. the taste of the herb spices was q strong too. 8/10
🍵 brown sugar ceremonial matcha latte
honestly i tot this was quite interesting but i couldnt taste the brown sugar after awhile? :””( and the taste was q mild ba so was abit disappointing..! so 5/10 fr this..
overall i’m glad that the service crew + owner made this visit a pleasant one, if not i honestly used all my luck up and have no fate here hahaha 😅😅 we went prior to this visit only to be rejected as the hotcakes were sold out!! but we found out you can make a reservation so that was what we did :) pro tip is to make a reservation fr the hotcake before you head down to avoid disappointment!! ♥️ might be back to try their other items!

We actually got turned away once before because they were sold out, so I highly recommend making a reservation specifically for the hotcakes to avoid disappointment. Besides the hotcakes, I highly suggest trying their pistachio mozzarella sandwich. Even though I'm not usually a fan of pistachio, this sandwich was amazingly crispy and flavorful without being too heavy. It’s available only during breakfast, but if you visit during dinner, don’t hesitate to ask if they still have it—they were kind enough to serve it for us. Also, don’t miss the polenta fritters—these are made with ground corn, herbs, and cheese, and the crispy exterior with a soft, creamy inside was a delightful surprise. The herbs and cheese gave the dish a rich and savory kick. For drinks, I tried the brown sugar ceremonial matcha latte. While it looked interesting, I felt the brown sugar flavor was too subtle, and the matcha itself was quite mild for my taste. If you're a fan of strong matcha, this might be a bit underwhelming. Finally, I want to commend the owner, Amanda, who was very calm and professional throughout our visit, especially when there was a reservation mix-up. The friendly and attentive service definitely enhanced our overall experience at Beth Cafe. In summary, while the hotcakes didn’t fully win me over, the other items on their menu and the excellent service made it a worthwhile visit. I’d be curious to try more dishes on another visit and see if they impress me even more.
