เผื่อใครกำลังหา “เบเกิล ใกล้ฉัน” หรืออยากลอง “เบเกิลแซนวิช” แบบไส้แน่นๆ ที่เซี่ยงไฮ้ เราว่าร้านนี้ตอบโจทย์มาก เพราะเป็นเบเกิลที่เลือกได้ทั้งแบบซื้อกลับบ้านและกินเป็นมื้อจริงจัง ไส้คาวหวานมีครบ ตั้งแต่แซลมอนรมควัน ไปจนถึงครีมชีสผลไม้ ทริคส่วนตัวเวลาเลือกเบเกิลแซนวิชให้คุ้ม คือดู “สัดส่วนไส้ต่อแป้ง” ร้านนี้เด่นตรงแซลมอนรมควันชิ้นหนาๆ ใส่มาแน่น กินแล้วอิ่มเหมือนกินแซนด์วิชหนึ่งมื้อเต็มๆ ถ้าใครไม่ชอบหวาน แนะนำไปสาย savory จะปลอดภัย เช่น smoked salmon, bacon & egg หรือแนวครีมชีสต้นหอม (chives cream cheese) ที่รสจะเค็มมันกำลังดี อีกอย่างที่ชอบคือมีตัวเลือก “plain bagel + ซื้อครีมชีสแยก” เหมาะกับคนอยากคุมรสเอง หรือซื้อไปแบ่งกินหลายคน เราชอบครีมชีสที่มีหลายรสให้เลือก (ทั้งสตรอว์เบอร์รีและต้นหอม) เวลาเอากลับที่พัก แนะนำให้เก็บครีมชีสไว้ในตู้เย็น แล้วค่อยทาตอนกิน จะยังเนียนและไม่เละ ถ้าตั้งใจไปแบบไม่อยากรอนาน เราแนะนำไปช่วงเช้าหรือบ่ายต้นๆ เพราะร้านดัง คนต่อแถวเยอะ โดยเฉพาะเมนูฮิตอย่างเบเกิลแซลมอนรมควัน บางวันของหมดไวเหมือนกัน ส่วนการสั่ง ถ้าจำชื่อเมนูไม่แม่น ให้ดูหน้าตาจากตู้โชว์ได้เลย จะเห็นเบเกิลหลายแบบในตู้ เช่น แนวผลไม้ เบอร์รีต่างๆ หรือบางไส้พิเศษที่หน้าตาอลังมาก การเดินทางก็ง่ายมาก: นั่ง Metro มาลงสถานี Xintiandi แล้วออก Exit 6 เดินออกมาแล้วเลี้ยวซ้ายนิดเดียวก็ถึง จุดสังเกตคือหน้าร้านจะมีคนยืนรอและมีบรรยากาศคาเฟ่คึกคัก ใครมาเที่ยว Xintiandi อยู่แล้ว แวะซื้อเป็นมื้อเช้าหรือของกินเล่นระหว่างเดินเล่นได้เลย
