Bird's nest mushroom, a strange mushroom in the courtyard canal forest.
Bird's Nest fungi is a Nidulariaceae species of mushroom, which comes in a variety of colors, ranging from light brown to dark brown to almost black, found in Chrysanthemum Forest, arid rainforest, born on decayed wood.
The cup-like mushroom flower, or bird's nest, has a small egg inside. The edge of the cup mouth is about 1 centimeter wide. The outer, light brown skin is covered with short coarse hairs.
Black or greyish-brown or black inner skin, with long embossed lines parallel from the edge of the cup mouth down to the pedicel cone.
In addition to Bird's Nest fungi being a mushroom species that is harmless to other organisms, bird's nest mushrooms nourish the soil in surrounding areas.
