Plan Thong Falls is in Phu Phra Veil National Park, located in Na Thong District, Chum Phra District, Khon Kaen Province. Pla Thong Falls is a beautiful small waterfall in the multi-water season, formed by watersheds of water. Many streams flow together and then into the wide-eyed creek, then into the cliffs. The first waterfall is about 10 meters high, and there are many small layers that cascade down this stream, which is covered with arid forest species, tengrang forest, and many rare species of wood. The path is only 1 kilometer from the Phu Veil National Park, and from the parking lot of the waterfall. Walk only 50 meters, which is easy to travel and not tired.

ถ้าใครกำลังหาพิกัด “น้ำตกพลาญทอง” แบบไปง่ายๆ และอยากได้บรรยากาศป่าชุ่มๆ หน้าฝน เราว่าที่นี่เหมาะมาก โดยเฉพาะคนที่อยากพาผู้ใหญ่ไปเที่ยวแบบไม่ต้องเดินไกลค่ะ ทางเข้าจะอยู่ในเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติภูผาม่าน จ.ขอนแก่น จุดที่ชอบคือจากลานจอดรถเดินไปน้ำตกแค่ประมาณ 50 เมตรเอง ทางเดินสั้นๆ ไม่โหด เหมาะกับการพาแม่ไปนั่งพัก สูดอากาศดีๆ ช่วงที่แนะนำจริงๆ คือเดือนสิงหาคม–กันยายน (ฤดูฝน) เพราะน้ำตกจะไหลแรงและสวยกว่าเดิม เห็นสายน้ำไหลลดหลั่นลงมาตามโขดหินที่มีมอสเกาะ เขียวๆ ตัดกับป่าไม้รอบๆ ถ่ายรูปออกมาดูสดชื่นมาก แถม “แอ่งน้ำ” ด้านล่างก็น่าแวะนั่งเล่น เรามักพกเสื่อผืนเล็กๆ ไปปูนั่งริมลำธาร แล้วให้แม่แช่เท้าในน้ำเย็นๆ รู้สึกผ่อนคลายสุดๆ ทริคเล็กๆ สำหรับคนจะลงไปใกล้แอ่งน้ำ: ใส่รองเท้ารัดส้นหรือรองเท้ากันลื่นจะปลอดภัยกว่า เพราะหินแถวน้ำตกมักลื่นจากมอสและความชื้น ถ้าไปหลังฝนตกใหม่ๆ ให้เดินช้าๆ และหลีกเลี่ยงการปีนโขดหินสูงๆ เพื่อความปลอดภัยของผู้ใหญ่ด้วยค่ะ ของที่แนะนำให้เตรียม: ผ้าเช็ดเท้า/ผ้าขนหนูผืนเล็ก, ยากันยุง, เสื้อคลุมกันฝนหรือร่ม, น้ำดื่ม และถุงสำหรับเก็บขยะกลับ (สำคัญมาก เพราะโซนนี้ธรรมชาติสวยและยังอุดมสมบูรณ์) ถ้าตั้งใจถ่ายรูป ลองไปช่วงเช้าหรือบ่ายแก่ๆ แสงจะนุ่ม ถ่ายสายน้ำกับผืนป่าเขียวขจีแล้วสวยมาก อีกอย่างที่ทำให้ทริปพาแม่แฮปปี้คือ ที่นี่ใช้เวลาเที่ยวไม่นาน จะมาแบบแวะพักระหว่างเดินทาง หรือทำเป็นทริปสั้นๆ ครึ่งวันก็ได้ พอได้รูปสวยๆ ได้สัมผัสน้ำตก ได้บรรยากาศป่าดิบแล้งและป่าเต็งรังแบบใกล้ชิด ถือว่าคุ้มและไม่เหนื่อยเลยค่ะ
