"Mean wax," or in science, is called a shrub or small tree.
The leaves are thick, hard, sharp leaf tips, which help in adapting to the environment in the mountain forest.
Pure white petals with an egg shape back at the end of the tree concave. Inside the flower is a large amount of male pollen in deep yellow, making it distinctive and beautiful. The fruit when ripe breaks into five hemispheres. It is an important characteristic in species classification.
Blossoms with dark yellow pollen are a source of attraction to pollinators, which help in the reproductive process of plants and maintain forest biodiversity.
Continuing to study and record native plant information will help us gain a better understanding of Thailand's biodiversity and be able to plan its conservation effectively.

นอกจากลักษณะเฉพาะที่สวยงามของ "ขี้ผึ้งเมี่ยง" ซึ่งโดดเด่นด้วยดอกสีขาวบริสุทธิ์และเกสรสีเหลืองเข้มแล้ว ใบของพืชชนิดนี้ยังมีความหนาและแข็งแรง ช่วยให้มันสามารถปรับตัวและดำรงชีพในสภาพแวดล้อมของป่าเขาได้ดี การได้เห็นผลของขี้ผึ้งเมี่ยงที่สุกแก่แล้วแตกออกเป็น 5 ซีกอย่างชัดเจน เป็นโอกาสที่พาผู้สนใจและนักธรรมชาติวิทยาได้ศึกษาลักษณะเฉพาะที่ไม่เหมือนใคร นอกจากนี้ ดอกที่โดดเด่นของขี้ผึ้งเมี่ยงยังเป็นตัวดึงดูดแมลงผสมเกสร ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญต่อระบบนิเวศในป่าภูหินร่องกล้า จากประสบการณ์ของผู้ที่เคยเดินทางสัมผัสธรรมชาติในอุทยานแห่งชาติภูหินร่องกล้า พบว่าการศึกษาและชื่นชมพืชพื้นเมืองเช่นนี้ไม่เพียงแต่สร้างความรู้สึกใกล้ชิดกับธรรมชาติ แต่ยังช่วยตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการอนุรักษ์พันธุ์พืชท้องถิ่นเพื่อรักษาความสมดุลของระบบนิเวศอย่างยั่งยืน การเรียนรู้ข้อมูลจากแหล่งข้อมูลอย่างเข้มข้น เช่น Forest Herbarium และทีมสำรวจพรรณไม้ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือและภาคเหนือตอนล่างก็สำคัญไม่แพ้กัน เพราะเป็นแนวทางที่ช่วยให้เราเก็บรักษาความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพของประเทศไทยได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น
