"Little tendon," a beautiful flowering plant in the camp field botanical garden.
The little tendon () is a herbaceous plant, can be up to 1.5 meters high, most of the stems are shaven, parallel-shaped, lanceolate or strip-shaped leaves 3-7 centimeters long, short petioles, pointed ends, round cones, 1-3 leaf cones on each side, dense short, soft hairy leaf plates on both sides.
The flowers are clustered with 1-3 flowers, or up to 10 flowers, 4 petals and 4 sepals each, 3-7 millimeters long, glabrous or sporadic hairs, or stiff hairs between the sepals, triangular sepals, long sharp ends, 6-7 millimeters long, petals 1.2-1.7 centimeters long.
8 male pollen, 4-7 millimeters long anther, with a short beak, an ovary as long as or shorter than the thalamus, a stubby tip, a bell-shaped or tote-shaped effect, 3-8 millimeters long.

สำหรับใครที่สนใจไม้ล้มลุกและอยากรู้จักกับเอ็นอ้าน้อยให้ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้น ผมขอเล่าประสบการณ์จากการไปเยือนสวนพฤกษศาสตร์ทุ่งค่าย จ.ตรัง ที่ซึ่งเอ็นอ้าน้อยเป็นหนึ่งในต้นไม้ที่โดดเด่นมาก หนึ่งในความประทับใจคือสีม่วงสดใสของดอกที่บานสะพรั่งพร้อมเกสรสีเหลืองซึ่งสะดุดตาอย่างมาก ทั้งยังเห็นหยดน้ำบนกลีบดอกที่ช่วยเพิ่มความสดชื่นและความงามตามธรรมชาติอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ เอ็นอ้าน้อยเป็นไม้ล้มลุกที่มีลักษณะลำต้นเกลี้ยง ใบเรียวยาว มีขนสั้นนุ่มทั้งสองด้าน ซึ่งช่วยให้จำได้ง่ายขึ้นจากไม้ล้มลุกชนิดอื่น ๆ ดอกออกเป็นกระจุก มีได้ตั้งแต่ 1-10 ดอกในแต่ละช่อกลีบดอกและกลีบเลี้ยงมีจำนวน 4 กลีบ ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว นอกจากนี้ผลที่ออกยังมีลักษณะรูประฆังหรือคนโทพร้อมขนแข็งเล็กน้อย ทำให้ต้นไม้ดูมีเสน่ห์ในทุกช่วงชีวิต สำหรับผู้ที่ชื่นชอบการดูพืชหรือศึกษาพรรณไม้ เอ็นอ้าน้อยถือเป็นตัวอย่างที่ดีของไม้ล้มลุกที่มีความน่าสนใจและสวยงาม หากมาเยือนสวนพฤกษศาสตร์แห่งนี้อย่าลืมถ่ายภาพระยะใกล้สวย ๆ ของดอกที่มีรายละเอียดของกลีบดอกและเกสร ซึ่งเหมาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับผู้ที่ชอบถ่ายภาพดอกไม้และธรรมชาติ
