October 4 "World Animal Day"
October 4 of each year is World Animal Day, first designated by Heinrich Zimmermann, a famous German writer and magazine owner, on March 24, 1925, at the Sports Palace, Berlin, Germany, and then redesignated as October 4, to coincide with the celebration of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron of the world's ecosystems and environment, until in the year 1925. 1931 The Congress of the International Animal Protection Congress in Florence, Italy, accepted the proposal and designated October 4 of each year as International World Animal Day.
World Animal Day was founded to give us a glimpse of the importance of animal life, as well as the rights established for animal welfare, to help animals live safely, and to protect animals from harm, whether in forests, zoos, cities, or even homes.
All animals on earth are important for all forms of ecosystems. Without animals in the wild, the sea, or even homes, our planet will lose balance. On this day, we would like to invite all of us to realize and create awareness so that animals can live as they should.
