"World Migratory Bird Day" 2nd Saturday of May and October

The 2nd Saturday of May and October each year coincides with World Migratory Bird Day, established in 2006 in cooperation between the secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) and the Agreement on the Conservation of Migratory Waterbirds in Africa-Eurasia (AEWA), later in c. The 2018 Environment for the Americas (EFTA) organization has entered into a partnership with CMS and AEWA to include a global migratory bird celebration event under the name "World Migratory Bird Day" and is scheduled to host events twice a year on the second Saturday in May and October to reflect the bird migration season in the northern and southern hemispheres.

Bird migration is a natural process, in which different species of birds fly for hundreds to thousands of kilometers in order to find the most suitable environment and habitat for foraging, breeding, and raising young; and when those environments begin to become unsuitable, such as temperature or rainfall changes, these migratory birds fly to regions with better conditions.

Migratory birds now face a number of problems, such as habitat loss from deforestation, climate change that distorts seasons, inadequate food resources, and human skill hazards such as pollution, chemicals, etc., which affect the migration, breeding, and subsistence of many species of birds around the world, so we need to conserve forests and nature with these migratory birds.
