December 4, "Thailand Environment Day"
December 4 of each year coincides with Thai Environment Day, which is commemorated by His Majesty Gathibe Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, which was given to a group of individuals who attended the commemoration of the Memorial Day at the Royal Hall of Dusilaya on December 4. In 1989, with a focus on the deteriorating environmental situation of Thailand and the world and a concern for the environmental problems facing the Thai people, he warned the Thai people to cooperate with serious environmental problems with discretion, making it a duty for everyone to act, not only for Thailand, if also for the safety of the world.
Later, the Council of Ministers at that time passed a resolution declaring December 4 of each year to be Thailand Environment Day to meet the word that His Majesty King Gathibeur Maha Phumibol Adulyadej the Great, Phitra, who was concerned about environmental issues, and to raise good awareness for all Thais to make everyone take care of the environment seriously.
December 4 is also considered National Village Natural Resources and Environment Protection Volunteer Day, or "National Day," which gives all Thais a reason to recognize the good care, protection and preservation of the environment in Thailand and around the world.
