December 14 "World Monkey Day"

December 14 of each year coincides with World Monkey Day. It was founded in 2000 by Casey Sorrow and Eric Millikin, both of whom were art students at Michigan State University. A celebration was held with friends of the faculty, dressed as monkeys and creating art about monkeys. Later, World Monkey Day was widely publicized and popularized.

Monkey Monkeys are mammals with human ancestry. There are more than 260 species from all over the world. There are a variety of monkeys in Thailand, such as Wok, Linggang, Macaque, etc. Among them are monkeys protected by the Wildlife Reserve and Protection Act 2019, including six species: Linggang, Linglings, Linglings, Lingen, Macaque, and Linglings, or Assamese Monkeys or Mountain Monkeys.

Monkeys are important to ecosystems in many ways, such as seed dispersers, and some monkeys also control insect populations, so we need to conserve ecosystems to maintain the balance of nature and maintain a stable and sustainable habitat for monkeys.
