Patio Canal Leopard "Nut & Orchid" Panther = Leopard
Canal Yard National Park, Phet Wall Province, in addition to its beautiful nature, fresh air, there are wildlife like leopards that expand the territory of Canal Yard forest as habitat, reflecting the integrity of the forest.
In June 2020, WWF - World Wide Fund for Nature - captured two tigers, which depict leopards and panthers together, feeding in the forest area of Canal Yard, then Canal Yard National Park, together with WWF Thailand, tracking behavior, recording data, and studying subsistence.
The leopard or panther (scientific name Panthera pardus delacourii) is caused by a leopard with a genetic condition called melanism, melanin hyperpigmentation, which is a genetic trait that makes its hair very black or dark, but if you observe it, the panther's body can see the dots on its black hair like a leopard.
But the colors can be so harmonious that they are hard to see, and the chances of a panther being born in one litter are very small. Capturing a leopard and a panther together is a special thing that is not often seen.
The leopards and panthers that were photographed on the floor of Canal Lan, were named the good name of Kampong Lan Province by Kampong Lan National Park with WWF Thailand, together named the panther, and the other leopard gave the name of the orchid. Soon, the orchid and the orchid became the star of Kampong Lan National Park, Kampong Lan Province.
Canal Lan National Park has prepared souvenirs related to cones and orchids to be reserved as souvenirs and collect such as T-shirts, hats, water cylinders or other community products to own. Fans of the cones and orchids can reserve souvenirs at Canal Lan National Park Welfare Shop.
