For this operation, the Huai Shin Wildlife Sanctuary systematically applied food chain knowledge to manage the area. Under the main idea of increasing the population of tigers, which are the highest predators, it is necessary to increase the population of prey animals such as red cows, deer, and wild boar. The project focuses on improving the basic factors needed for wildlife. It includes the improvement of more than 850 acres of food fields, the development of 10 large water fields, 30 artificial mineral supplementation, and the management of more than 150 acres of grassland around the water supply to create a "food court for herbivorous wildlife. "This, in addition to boosting wildlife populations, is an important strategy to attract tricky wildlife to suitable habitats, reducing its distribution, disturbing the agricultural crops of forest-marginalized communities, which is a major cause of today's human-wildlife problems.
Following the results of the Forest and Wildlife Administration through the installation of wildlife cameras, a wide range of wildlife has been found to be used in the project area, including Thai peacocks, wild rabbits, macaques, keng, wild boars, antelopes, wild deer, tapirs and red cows. These herbivores are important sources of energy in the food chain. In addition, predators such as foxes, leopards, panthers and especially "tigers" have been found to use the area to hunt for natural circuits.
