Who says the tension in the forest must always be scary? Today, let's take you to see the badness of the "Indra Curtain Snake," a small snake with a slender body and big eyes.

Indra Curtain Strap Snake, is a small snake, long slender body, large eyes, bronze brown back, or brown-green, with a yellow or cream stripe draped beside the lower body, black border, brown forehead, with a black stripe behind the eye draped over half of the temporal area and extending to the neck, with blue or blue-green spots on the neck visible when alarmed.

The habitat area will live in low-lying forests and foothill forests, tricky in the day; food includes frogs, crows, lizards, lizards and small reptiles.

Spawn. 3-8 eggs are laid at a time. It can be laid several times a year. The incubation period is 85-126 days. It is found in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc.

เมื่อพูดถึงงูในป่า หลายคนมักนึกถึงความน่ากลัว แต่จริงๆ แล้วงูบางชนิดก็มีความน่ารักและเสน่ห์ในตัวเองอย่างงูสายม่านพระอินทร์นี้ครับ จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่ได้ไปเยือนอุทยานแห่งชาติคลองลาน จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร ผมได้มีโอกาสเจองูสายม่านพระอินทร์ในธรรมชาติ ลำตัวของมันเรียวยาวสีบรอนซ์สวยงาม ผมประทับใจอย่างยิ่งกับดวงตากลมโตที่ดูสดใสและเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว งูชนิดนี้มีแถบสีเหลืองครีมที่พาดข้างลำตัวและมีจุดสีฟ้าบริเวณคอที่ชัดเจนเมื่อมันตื่นตกใจ ซึ่งเพิ่มความโดดเด่นให้กับมันมากขึ้น งูสายม่านพระอินทร์มักออกหากินกลางวัน เป็นผู้ล่าที่เน้นจับสัตว์เลื้อยคลานเล็ก ๆ เช่น กบ เขียด กิ้งก่า และจิ้งจก พฤติกรรมการจับเหยื่อที่คล่องแคล่วทำให้เห็นว่ามันมีบทบาทสำคัญในระบบนิเวศควบคุมประชากรสัตว์ขนาดเล็ก การที่งูชนิดนี้วางไข่ได้หลายครั้งต่อปีและใช้เวลาฟักไข่ราว 85-126 วัน ช่วยให้มีการขยายพันธุ์ได้อย่างต่อเนื่องในพื้นที่ป่า ทั้งนี้ การอนุรักษ์ถิ่นที่อยู่อาศัยของงูสายม่านพระอินทร์จึงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญ เพราะนอกจากจะช่วยรักษาสมดุลของระบบนิเวศแล้ว ยังเป็นการปกป้องความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพของพื้นที่ด้วย สำหรับใครที่สนใจศึกษาหรือต้องการเห็นงูสายม่านพระอินทร์ในธรรมชาติ แนะนำให้ไปเยือนอุทยานแห่งชาติคลองลานในช่วงที่สภาพอากาศเอื้ออำนวยและดูแลตัวเองอย่างดี เพื่อลดผลกระทบต่อธรรมชาติและสัตว์ป่าทุกชนิด สุดท้ายแล้ว การได้สัมผัสและเรียนรู้เรื่องราวของงูชนิดนี้ ไม่เพียงแต่เพิ่มพูนความรู้ แต่ยังช่วยฝึกให้เรามองสัตว์ป่าอย่างจริงจังและรักธรรมชาติมากขึ้นอีกด้วยครับ
