A Love Letter to Vienna 💌
One of the most romantic cities to ever go to 🤍. Around the end of January, about 2 and a half days. The weather is good. You can walk all day and feel very safe. Vienna has a subtle romance, calm, not bustling or crowded, but full of beautiful architecture and atmosphere that makes the city look romantic without trying.

This time I choose to stay here because I like the design so much. It is a mid-century hotel with fun details in every corner, from lobby to room. And the locations are quite convenient for walking into the city.

🐎 Hofburg Palace x Burggarten
Former royal palace of Habsburg dynasty in the heart of Vienna, the palace has many parts and reflects architecture from many eras, just a walk, the architecture around is beautiful and gets a very Imperial Vienna atmosphere.
Introduced later walks at Burggarten, a relatively calm garden beside the palace, with both Palmenhaus and beautiful corners to sit and rest or stroll in, providing a more relaxed atmosphere from the magnificence of the palace itself.

🎨 Albertina Museum

One of the famous art museums in the heart of Vienna, located in the former royal palace of Habsburg. Inside, there are both State Rooms that retain Imperial luxury and art collections, from Monet, Picasso to Modern Art. Personally, I love to see both the artwork and the beautiful interior along the way. Very rewarding.

🌳 Palmenhaus.
The old greenhouse in Burggarten, Art Nouveau style. The interior is full of tropical trees and very beautiful glass structures. The atmosphere is calm and different from the magnificence of Hofburg next to it. It's another corner that suggests stopping in and walking. 🍃
Another zone will be 🥐 Café Palmenhaus, a cafe and restaurant inside the building. The store itself is a high-ceiling greenhouse. Sheer and surrounded by greenery. Very suitable for a stop after a stroll around Burggarten.

🖌️ Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien

One of Vienna's most important art museums is built to showcase the Habsburg royal collections. The interior ranges from classic European art, sculptures, to antiquities. I personally feel that the building itself is beautiful, not losing any work inside. The walls, halls, and decorative details are spectacular. A few hours of walking time is good.

🎭 Vienna State Opera
The landmark of Vienna and the world-famous Opera House. The building is beautiful during the day and during the evening. The more the city is known for its classical music, it is another point to feel the full charm of Vienna to not go to the show. Just walk around the architecture and really be amazed by the architecture.

Vienna is an easy-to-travel city, and everything is quite interconnected. Especially the main landmark in the city, which can be walked along the way, there are beautiful architecture, cafes and gardens to visit, so it feels like a very unplanned walk is another charm for the city.
It's only been two and a half days, but it feels like a city that spends time in a hurry, calm, safe, and if there's a chance it's another city that wants to live slowly again. 🫶🏼
