Sq. Sealed Meta, government agencies and the education sector, launched the online course "Digital Citizen 101," upgrading Thai teachers' digital skills, piloting 437 schools before expanding nationwide.

The National Police Agency (Sq) announced a partnership with Meta and the "Digital Citizen 101" project drive task force, launching the "Digital Citizen 101" online curriculum to create sustainable technological immunity, as well as strengthen the role of Thai teachers and teachers as Train-the-Trainer, transmitting digital safety knowledge to youth and their families, starting a pilot in 437 Bangkok schools before expanding to educational establishments across the country.

The curriculum is designed to address today's increasingly complex and rapidly changing online threats and technological crime challenges aimed at enhancing the readiness of teachers and instructors to transfer their knowledge of online cheats, the protection of personal information, and the proper and responsible use of digital technologies including artificial intelligence in the context of instruction and daily life.

It also reflects Meta's commitment to proactive work to address rapidly changing online threats. Enhancing digital skills and knowledge for teachers, a key precursor to the education system, will help build accurate understanding and reduce online risk for young people, their families, and Thai society in the long run, while supporting the safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence technology and intelligence.

The online course is divided into concise subheadings and learners can graduate in two hours to provide accurate, comprehensive and consistent content with the practical context of Thai society, covering key topics such as creating appropriate online behavior, safe use of social media, personal data protection and cybersecurity, online cheats awareness, and responsible use of technology and artificial intelligence or AI.

The curriculum is scheduled for completion in mid-March 69 and is open for free on the Chula MOOC platform. It will be piloted in over 437 Bangkok schools before bringing feedback from practical applications to improve and expand to teachers and teachers across the country.
