The PM ordered the guards to step on landmines, Sisaket Army Division 2, clarifying the bombs left over from the battle.

In the wake of the Thai military mine pedal in the 2nd Army Region, Sisaket Province, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anin Chan Virgul, stressed that the best possible care of the wounded soldiers and expedited the most rapid recovery of explosives, along with increasing the vigilance of the operational units. The 2nd Army clarified that the force was injured by stepping on explosives while performing the task of clearing and proving the area within the unit's control area to establish the security of the base. This caused a lack of one left-leg personnel and two minor injuries. The mine was left in the fighting in the Thai-border area. Cambodia has ordered the relevant units to expedite the inspection of the area in detail to prevent a repeat of the same incident, as well as to coordinate the Explosives Recovery Agency to systematically clear the area. In addition, Lieutenant General Thanathip Bright, director of the Bureau of Mass Affairs and Information, the Department of Internal Security, led a group of more than 70 people to the Surin Provincial Forces to deliver equipment such as 4,000 kilograms of nets with 50 iron posts for the installation of air defense nets, 40 bunkers, 5,000 sandbags to strengthen the defences in vulnerable areas supporting troops on duty along the Thai-Cambodian border.
