The Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anin Chanwegul, opened THAIFEX - HOREC ASIA 2026, an international trade fair in the HoReCa industry group including Hotel, Restaurant and Catering. It is a key platform that reflects Thailand's potential as a regional HoReCa industry hub and a gateway to the global market.
Which the Prime Minister saw in a situation where the global trade environment is increasingly uncertain by changes in trade policy, geopolitical tensions, rising energy costs and global supply chain fluctuations, resilience, adaptability and cooperation among sectors are the cornerstones of sustained growth. Thailand's strengths in goods, services and culture can build on that.
Creating economic value in tourism, exports, franchises, professional services and international business partnerships, the organization of such events will help strengthen supply chain linkages, expanding opportunities.
Marketing and reinforcing Thailand's role as a trusted commercial partner at both regional and global levels. It reaffirms its commitment to support entrepreneurs, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), promote trade, develop potential, expand market diversity and build economic partnerships. It is hoped that this event will lead to cooperation, new opportunities and joint success. The Ministry of Commerce predicts that it will attract more than 20,000 visitors, buyers and businessmen from around the world, creating a trade value of more than 3,500 million baht. The event will last until March 13, 2026. At the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center, Thongthani City.
