PM opens Thailand FastPass, facilitates entrepreneurship, aims to create an investment of 700 billion baht
Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anin Chan Virgul, opened Thailand FastPass and witnessed the signing of a partnership between eight agencies to speed up the authorization process and facilitate investment. Reduce the implementation time in key steps by 20-50%. Allow investment to occur quickly and generate tangible economic momentum. The Prime Minister emphasized that "speed" is an important factor of current economic competition. The government is aimed at reorienting the public sector role from supervisor to facilitator, enhancing the Ease of Doing Business and improving the bureaucracy to be efficient, transparent and efficient. In line with the standards, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which values public sector efficiency, regulatory quality, transparency, governance, and creating an environment conducive to sustained economic growth. To strengthen investor confidence and maintain Thailand's role as the key investment center of the region, Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, stated that Thailand FastPass is an accelerator to transform investment promotion into a real economic activity. It selected 25 projects from 23 companies with a total value of over 223,000 baht, creating over 13,000 quality jobs with the goal of pushing forward. Nearly 700 billion baht in 2026 will be invested. The FastPass mechanism will benefit the Thai economy in five areas: 1. The recovery of the Thai economy; 2. Creating new jobs and new careers; 3. New skills and knowledge transfer; 4. Opportunities of entrepreneurs and manufacturers in the country; 5. Creating renewable money back to the local economy.
