Applying Buildergel nails can seem intimidating at first, but with a few helpful tips and the right technique, it becomes a breeze. From my personal experience, preparation is key. Always start by cleaning and lightly buffing your natural nails to remove oils and shine. This allows the Buildergel to adhere better and last longer. When applying Buildergel, use thin layers rather than thick ones. A thin, even application cures more effectively under LED lights and reduces the chance of lifting or bubbling. Patience is important – curing each layer under a quality LED lamp ensures a strong, resilient finish. It’s also essential to choose the right tools. A flat, firm brush works best for shaping and spreading Buildergel evenly. After curing, carefully shape and smooth the surface with a high-grit buffer to create a flawless look. For beginners, I recommend practicing on a nail wheel or tips before moving on to your own nails. This helped me gain confidence and improve my technique without worrying about mistakes. Lastly, maintenance is key. Buildergel nails can last for weeks if you avoid harsh chemicals and apply cuticle oil daily to keep nails and surrounding skin hydrated. By following these steps, applying Buildergel becomes a manageable and rewarding process that delivers salon-quality results at home.
