OAKCHA That Girl Viral Vanilla perfume review
TikTok made me buy it since I’ve heard it smells really really good and as I have said before, I don’t trust many peoples opinion when it comes to scents (I have great sense of smell) but it was really popular and saw well known credible sources confirm it so I decided to take a chance.
At first thought it was a very heavy vanilla that could be a little bit of a turn off because it smells very dark like an oil type (I’m thinking now it is tonka beans & musk notes) , after a while I did start smelling marshmallows, as if they’ve been roasted, caramel, and pure sweetness that turn me from a sour patch kid to a sweet one!
I would say the lasting power is pretty darn good: I would say after 5-6 hours and taking a nap, I can still smell it on me although faintly and I bet with other vanilla like lotions it’ll probably be even more potent.
The packaging is very cute and classy although the spout it sprays out of seems more like a target spritz than a vast spritz but it’s nothing too bad.
Here are the fragrance notes:
-Top Notes: Caramel Swirl, Coconut Milk
-Heart Notes: Tonka Bean, Honey
-Base Notes: Sugared White Musk, Amber, Vanilla, Marshmallow
overall tik tok did get this one right and it does smell Lovely; it is a mature vanilla yummy smell and it’ll be great for fall/winter for that coziness yet sweetness. 🥰

After diving deep into the OAKCHA 'That Girl' Viral Vanilla scent, I wanted to share even more tips and insights, especially since many of you are curious about its longevity and unique profile. As an Extrait de Parfum, this isn't your average fragrance; it's a higher concentration, meaning it's designed to last longer and often has a richer, more complex development on the skin. The bottle itself, clearly labeled as OAKCHA X PAUL VIRAL VANILLA EXTRAIT DE PARFUM 50 ML e 1.7 FL OZ, confirms its potent formulation. One of the biggest questions I get is, 'How long does the fragrance really last?' While my initial experience noted 5-6 hours even after a nap, I've found that with a few tricks, you can push its wear time even further. For an Extrait de Parfum, this is impressive. To maximize longevity, I always apply it to hydrated skin – a good unscented lotion or body oil acts like a primer for your fragrance. Focusing on pulse points like your wrists, neck, and behind the ears helps, as the warmth of these areas can gently diffuse the scent throughout the day. I also love spritzing a tiny bit on my clothes (patch test first!) or even my hair, which can hold onto the scent for hours, sometimes even days! Let’s talk more about the scent journey. Initially, some might find it a bit heavy, almost 'dark' vanilla, which I attributed to the tonka bean and musk notes. But oh, the dry down! It truly transforms into this warm, inviting marshmallow and caramel sweetness. It’s not a childish, sugary vanilla; it’s undeniably mature and cozy, making it perfect for those chilly fall and winter evenings, or even just to feel wrapped in comfort during the day. This complexity is what makes it so captivating and far from a one-note wonder. Many searches mention 'OAKCHA Vanilla Glaze,' and it’s important to clarify that while both are vanilla-centric, 'That Girl Viral Vanilla' is its own unique creation. Vanilla Glaze offers a different interpretation, often described as a creamier, gourmand vanilla. So, if you're specifically looking for the TikTok viral sensation with those roasted marshmallow and caramel notes, 'That Girl' is the one you want to try. It truly stands out in the crowded vanilla fragrance market. For those who noted the 'target spritz' from the atomizer, I've found a gentle dab on pulse points can sometimes work better if you prefer a softer application, or simply holding the bottle a bit further away for a wider mist. Despite this minor detail, the overall experience of this fragrance is a solid 10/10 for me. It's a delightful, long-lasting, and truly yummy scent that’s definitely worth exploring if you’re a vanilla lover.
