New collection at BATH & BODY WORKS: Spring/Summer

I never thought I would say this, but I’m actually ready for spring and summer ( although I am spring baby , fall is still my favorite season) for some reason. Like I’m ready for the warm weather, sunny days and blue skies (being a Texan it is very, very hot and dry here so I’m also scared at the same time lol).

Bath & body works released their pre-summer collection: two, which are returning, which is Waikiki Beach Coconut (not pictured, but still a summer favorite) and pink pineapple sunrise (also not pictured). They added two new scents to the summer collection, which is the Viva Brazil and Dreaming in Rio.

Viva Brazil has the fragrant notes of fresh guava, Maracuja zest and coconut water. If you like iced dragonfruit tea candle that Bath & body works occasionally carries, you will love this scent. Granted I never purchased that candle because it smelled too much of a fruity drink that would make me very thirsty, but this is basically the body care version of it and I actually love it which is rare because I normally not too crazy about very very fruity smells but as I mentioned earlier, I am so ready for spring and summer so this may just put me in a mood.

Now onto Dreaming in Rio ; this has the fragrant notes of golden banana, Garea, petals, and sun, Cedarwood. At first, I was very skeptical about this because while I like banana base foods, I’m not too crazy of smelling like it. It is literally a hit or miss for me, but I tried this on in the store and let it sit for a while and I actually smell more of the gardenia pedal which smells very subtle get very beautiful that I can actually rock with this. I do not know if I will wear this every day or as frequently as the viva Brazil, but this will definitely be a nice scent to put on every so often.

For two days, only Bath & body works is having all moisturizers, including those in this collection at $5.95 each!!

Let me know what you think of this post and if you’re interested in buying these items or if you already have them!

... Read moreAs a fan of Bath & Body Works, I was genuinely excited to try the new Spring/Summer collection, especially the Viva Brazil and Dreaming in Rio scents. What struck me first about Viva Brazil was the refreshing blend of fresh guava, Maracuja zest, and coconut water—it gives off a tropical vibe that instantly lifts the mood. Interestingly, the scent reminded me of the iced dragonfruit tea candle they occasionally have, but this body care version is much more wearable and less overpowering than I expected. It’s perfect for someone like me who usually shies away from intensely fruity scents but is craving a burst of brightness for the warmer months. Dreaming in Rio, on the other hand, caught me by surprise. Initially, I was hesitant about its golden banana and cedarwood notes. If you're unsure about banana-based fragrances like I was, this one might surprise you since it’s actually quite subtle. Once I applied it and let it settle, I found the gardenia petals really come through, creating a soft floral heart that balances the scent beautifully. It's not something I'd wear daily, but it's definitely a nice change for special occasions or just when you want something different. Another highlight from this collection is the dermatologist-tested moisturizers and fine fragrance mists, which come in 6.5 oz sizes—great for both body and hair. The current sale pricing at $5.95 each is a fantastic opportunity to try these products without the usual splurge. For those of us living in hot, dry climates like Texas, having quality moisturizers that smell amazing and are gentle on skin is a must during spring and summer. If you’re contemplating which scent to try first, I’d recommend picking up Viva Brazil for everyday freshness and maybe Dreaming in Rio for when you want a touch of something unique. The returning favorites, Waikiki Beach Coconut and Pink Pineapple Sunrise, are classics here; even if they weren't pictured or extensively discussed, they remain summer staples that many people love. Overall, this collection perfectly captures the essence of sunny days and warm-weather vibes. Trying these scents felt like a mini escape to a tropical holiday, which is exactly what we all need after long winters. Have you tried any of these new fragrances yet? I’d love to hear your thoughts or recommendations on other must-try seasonal scents from Bath & Body Works!

These two smell so good I also purchased the body butter Costa Rica. I think I’m going to use my three free rewards for the body mists since I can’t wait. The fun part is also layering them with a fruity tropical body oil.
