When I first started bottle feeding my baby kitten, I learned how critical it was to maintain a careful feeding schedule to ensure proper nutrition and hydration. Baby kittens require feeding every few hours with a specially formulated kitten milk replacer, as they cannot yet digest cow’s milk. As the kitten grows, introducing solid food becomes essential. I gradually mixed wet kitten food with milk replacer before transitioning entirely to solids by about 8 weeks old. I also made sure to provide a warm, comfortable space for rest and plenty of gentle handling to socialize my kitten. Over the years, seeing the transformation from fragile baby to an energetic, fluffy cat strengthened my bond with my pet. Regular vet checkups, vaccinations, and playtime are also crucial to support healthy growth and development. If you’re raising a baby kitten, patience and love go a long way. It’s amazing how quickly they grow and how much personality they develop. From their first wobbly steps to their playful antics as full-grown cats, every stage is a beautiful chapter in your shared journey.
